Anyone here ever set up a wiki? How did you pick the software? It looks like there are dozens of packages.

Yes, actually I wrote a whole chunk about wikis in a book that’s not printed yet. Helpful, huh? :)

JM: Wikis in general, or something Plone-specific? I just want to slap up an intranet-type wiki to document some administrative stuff.

Christina: Yeah, he’s adorable, isn’t he? I think he thinks his name is “Sweetie.” Dorm answers are too long for a comment, so I’ll post on that later today.

My chapter has stuff that’s Zwiki/Zope specific. By all accounts, PHPWiki works just fine, and in Perl land, I think there’s a whole Wiki::Toolkit module.
