To keep you amused

…while I’m “romping around New Hampshire” this weekend (not my words), I’ll offer some participatory entertainment. Caption this photograph. Put your best ideas in the comments. Standard Flashes of Panic prize for the best one. Multiple entries welcome, void where prohibited, not liable for whatever, all rights reserved, do not bend, fold, spindle, or mutilate, etc. etc.

No prompts from me, but I will post the photographer’s original caption(s) when I get back.

Ride the Pink Bike – not by Bruce Springstein

You may think I’m foolish For the foolish things I do You may wonder how come I love you When you get on my nerves like you do Well baby you know you bug me There ain’t no secret ‘bout that Well come on over here and hug me Baby I’ll spill the facts Well honey it sure ain’t your money And girl, there’s no time to think I love you for your little bike that pink

This is gonna be a loooooong commute.

Ok, Now after this, run jump on the couch. Just like the Simpsons

It’s not fair! Mom always lets her go first, wear the cool hat, and use MY Blue’s Clues backpack.

My Friends Will Have A Field Day With This One

(Did anyone catch the irony in the Now Playing portion of this post?)

As promised, some original details:

The photographer (my brother) originally sent this with the label, “Does anybody know this clown?”

That is, of course, my younger niece with the Blue’s Clues backpack.

Fortunately for me (I think,) my leg obscured the fact that I’m riding a genuine Barbie Bicycle.

The best part, though, was when the bike’s owner busted me for riding without a helmet.
